WHY CHOOSE WICKED MOOSE? With so many clubs within the Twin Cities area from which to choose, it can be very difficult for parents and players to select the right club. We want you to understand how being a part of Wicked Moose Volleyball will benefit you by providing you with information on the three qualities we feel are most important at our club.
I. Training
We believe that providing proper training is the most important quality a club should provide. Club volleyball prices range from as little as $300.00 per year in some clubs to well over $5,000.00 per year in others. No matter what price you are paying, quality training for your child should be the highest priority.At Wicked Moose every one of our coaches has been educated on the scientific principles related to volleyball, including the laws of motor learning and biomechanics. Our coaches have extensive experience with volleyball instruction and they continue to develop professionally by attending yearly coaching clinics and developmental mini-clinics that are held throughout theseason.We also believe that it is important for players to see how they play on film in order to improve technique and decision-making skills. This is why we film practices on a regular basis and provide our athletes with the opportunity to view practice film in our own facility.
II. Exposure
A. As an athlete on one of the ‘1s’ teams in our 14-18 divisions, your child will be exposed to coaches from all over the North Country Region and from across the United States by competing in Regional and National Tournaments
B. As an athlete on one of the teams in our 12-13 divisions and second teams in our 14-18
division, your child will be competing in Regional Tournaments and be exposed to the same coaching and instruction systems as the ‘1s’ teams.
III. Value
When looking at cost, the first thing to remember is that you are investing in your child’s future. Although we do not guarantee scholarships and/or that all of our athletes will play collegiate volleyball, our athletes will in fact have the opportunity to get noticed by college coaches and have the potential to earn a scholarship. Though Wicked Moose volleyball may not be the least
expensive club in the region, when you compare the benefits of our level of instruction/training and
the exposure we provide, without the extra cost of traveling to national qualifiers outside our region, there really is no comparison. We are confident that Wicked Moose provides the best value of any club in the entire region.
