Wicked Moose is committed to teaching players to love the game of volleyball and train at a level that will enable them to be as successful as they can be in all areas of the sport.
We want playing club volleyball to be a fun and memorable experience, which is why we assist players with setting measurable goals and as a club, strive to make sure they are achieved.
We educate our players through positive reinforcement and encourage them to think critically and to seek challenges by setting their expectations high.
Self determination is a key component that we stress in developing passion for volleyball.
We emphasize sportsmanship through respect for teammates, coaches, opponents and officials.
We believe that players should be given the opportunity to earn playing time throughout the season by development of skill level.
Each player will have a role within the team structure that will be accepted and supported.
We also stress the importance of physical and mental toughness, as well as learning to compete.
Developing technical and tactical skills, increasing muscular strength, power and agility, and enhancing court awareness are key focuses of every practice.
The Wicked Moose family is dedicated to helping players mature on the court as students of the game and off the court through life’s challenges.
Our coaching staff will aim at making sure everyone involved has a positive experience and feels as though they are a part of something special.
Support for all coaches and player’s is encouraged as we venture on the path of being an elite club in Minnesota.
