ABOUT US
The directors and staff of Wicked Moose Volleyball would like to extend a warm welcome to those families considering our club for the upcoming 2009-10 season. At Wicked Moose, we intend to make everyone in our club feel like they are a part of something special as we focus on family, goal setting and teaching players to love the sport of volleyball. We believe that our experienced coaches, combined with our infrastructure and excellent customer service will allow us to become one of the top volleyball clubs in the country.
Our website is designed to give you all the information you need on Wicked Moose Volleyball, as well as pictures and videos that will make our site a fun place to visit. You can also stay tuned to what’s going on with Wicked Moose by becoming a part of Moose News. Simply click on the Moose News link on our homepage to register. During our free open gyms each fall, directors and coaches will be on site to answer more specific questions about Wicked Moose Volleyball. PROGRAM INFORMATION
Wicked Moose Volleyball is an elite junior volleyball club sanctioned through USA Volleyball and the North Country Region. We intend on competing with the top volleyball programs in the country and we will focus on training our athletes to do just that.We will help each player set specific goals and train our players to reach their potential and set goals. We encourage multi-sport athletes in our club and will support them anyway we can.Our players will engage in elite competition and be exposed to college recruits which will give our athletes a wonderful opportunity to continue their volleyball careers at the collegiate level.
POWER LEAGUE & TOURNAMENTS
Our staff will put together a competitive schedule for each of our teams that will include venues such as the Northern Lights Power League, Ralia Power League, Wicked Moose Tournaments, M1 and Ralia Tournaments, Presidents’ Day Festival, NCR Qualifier, Northern Lights Qualifier, Rochester Cup, Wisconsin Dells Prep Bowl and other local tournaments.
PRACTICES & TRAINING
We will have 2-3 practices a week. Each practice will be 2-2.5 hours long and players will work on general skills, position specific skills and team skills. They will also engage in speed, agility and core training. Practices dates and times will be available following tryouts
